PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
At California Northstate University (CNU), we offer the Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MPS). MPS program at CNU is dedicated to advance the science of pharmaceutical research by developing future scientists trained to promote health through knowledge, research, and social responsibility. MPS has two track options; One-Year Capstone Paper Track (Non-Thesis Track) and Two-Year Thesis Track. We invite you to learn more about MPS at CNU and discover an education built for you.

MPS HAS TWO TRACK OPTIONS:
(1) One-Year Capstone Paper (Non-thesis) Track: Get into a ONE YEAR master program with an intensive curriculum and graduate with improved academic profile, significantly higher admission into healthcare professional schools, and a marketable Master’s Degree in the field of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences.

(2) Two-Year Thesis Track: The MPS two-year thesis track is designed to enhance the students’ research skills through hands-on laboratory training in the field of pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences.

- MPS capstone-track students will complete the program in one year of three semesters (Fall, Spring and Summer). MPS capstone-track students must successfully
complete a capstone paper project.
- MPS thesis-track will complete the program in two years of four semesters (2x fall and 2x spring). MPS thesis-track students much complete a research-thesis project.
- Students of both tracks will go through an intensive curriculum consisting of 12 courses with a total of 31 credits.
