Program Description

Mercer University's Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences program is a 30 credit degree program that offers a thesis or non-thesis track and prepares students with concrete skills and competencies to make them competitive for careers in the pharmaceutical industry, governmental agencies or academia.

Students in the non-thesis track have the option of completing their degree on campus or by synchronous remote learning. The non-thesis option is not available to students who are on a F-1 visa status in the US, such students must opt for the thesis track.

All applicants must submit all required application materials and meet the following requirements:
- Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or an equivalent degree in a related area, or a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. Applicants whose coursework was completed outside the U.S. need to submit a course-by-course educational evaluation report as part of their application (www.wes.org).

- Minimum undergraduate Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.

- For applicants from a country where the medium of instruction is other than English, a minimum TOEFL score of 100 on the internet-based test (iBT) or IELTS score of 7.5 is required.
