Program Description:
The University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy (UKCOP) is cultivating leaders in pharmaceutical sciences through expert depth and breadth of training, cultivation of an innovative mindset, and by supporting professional skills development through a groundbreaking, holistic, student-centric training paradigm. 

We seek to recruit the most talented applicants and train them to become rigorous scientists, focused on drugs and drug therapy, who are well-rounded problem solvers who create new knowledge, function as integral members of collaborative research teams, and become leaders in academia, healthcare, industry, and other avenues of society. Integrated training tracks allow students to engage in research projects that focus on new drug discovery, the development of new drug delivery methods and technologies, investigation of the pharmacology and therapeutics of small molecules and biologics, advance the preclinical and clinical development of therapeutics, conduct translational studies that link basic science to the patient, and advance healthcare through policy development and outcomes-based research.

The Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy strives to recruit exceptional students with the goal of training them to be prepared for the current professional landscape and to make life-long impactful careers through science, leadership, and innovation.
