Program Description

The M.S. in Molecular Biosciences is a 33-credit program that encompasses disciplines such as cell and molecular biology, immunology, microbiology, and infectious diseases. The thesis and capstone track options are designed for students to develop expertise in bench research in addition to cultivating their scientific writing and presentation skills. This allows graduates to be competitive for a variety of career paths including admission to PhD programs or professional medical degree programs such as MD, DO, or DDS; or gain employment in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry; or as a research technician in private or government industries.

Program faculty are conducting cutting-edge biomedical research focused on understanding the mechanisms of human health and disease.
