Program Description:
Our on-site Master’s in Pharmacogenomics program is for students looking to pursue careers in healthcare professions or laboratory research. The 31 credit-hour program focuses on providing an education focused on the depth and breadth of PGx knowledge and clinical application. Students gain hands-on laboratory and research experience over the 1-year program. With a May start date, this program can be completed during a gap year before entering medical, pharmacy or dental school.

To be considered for admission to the on-campus master’s program, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in science or a science related field (chemistry, biology, etc.);  or a master's degree in science or science related field (genetic counseling, etc.); or a professional degree (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, etc.). Degree must be equivalent to a degree conferred by a US accredited institution. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 is required on a 4.0 scale. A minimum science GPA of a 2.7 is required on a 4.0 scale.
