Program Description
The M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a two-year graduate program in one of three unique areas of emphasis: 1) Molecular Medicine and Pharmacogenomics centering on drug discovery principles, 2) Drug Development (Pharmaceutics) focusing on drug delivery to the desired target, or 3) Social and Administrative Pharmacy concerned with the interface between pharmacy and society (concerned with pharmacy outcomes).
The degree will prepare students for positions in academia, technical or managerial positions in the pharmaceutical industry, contract research organizations, managed care organizations, health care systems, and government agencies.
Completion of a M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences will also prepare students for further study in a doctoral program, medicine or a related discipline.
The program is based at the Fort Lauderdale/Davie campus.
