Program Description | The University of Florida’s online graduate program in Pharmaceutical Outcomes & Policy (POP) empowers professionals to improve pharmaceutical care and health outcomes at the population level. This flexible program is designed for working professionals seeking to advance their careers in healthcare, policy, and the biopharmaceutical industry. Students can choose from four specialized concentrations to align their education with their career goals. Whether you're aiming to influence healthcare policy, manage pharmaceutical value communications, or lead in managed care pharmacy, UF’s POP program offers the tools and training to make a meaningful difference. Graduates of the program are well-positioned for roles in the biopharmaceutical industry, managed care organizations, health systems, and government agencies. In fact, 75% of POP alumni report starting a new role within a year of graduating. Areas of study: - Pharmaceutical Value Communications - Pharmaceutical Policy - Pharmacoeconomics: - Managed Care Pharmacy Through a unique partnership with Stetson University, students can also pursue a concurrent M.S. and an MBA, earning both degrees in as little as three years. This dual-degree option is ideal for those aiming to combine scientific expertise with business leadership in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. For healthcare professionals looking to specialize or upskill without committing to a full degree, we offer 15-credit online graduate certificates. Credits may be eligible for transfer to the Master’s program, provided a grade of “B” or higher is achieved and admission requirements are met. Tuition discounts for the M.S. degree are available to AMCP, ISMPP or AMWA members. |
