| Program Description | The Pacific University School of Pharmacy's MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree program trains students interested in discovery-based research, who are motivated to disseminate new knowledge in the biomedical sciences. Training in this program makes students competitive for future academic and employment opportunities in post graduate programs (both clinical and scientific), research, and industry. In addition, students enrolled in the MS program receive on-site leadership training as mentors by serving to support and train other pharmacy students and undergraduate researchers in the laboratory. The MS degree consists of 46 didactic, research, experiential and thesis credits (16 of which are shared with the PharmD degree). Some example courses include: Advanced Topics in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Scientific Communication I & II. |
