The goal of the Certificate in Pharmacometrics is to provide a skill-building program in quantitative tools that are used in drug development, regulatory decision making and precision dosing.

Pharmacometrics is defined as that branch of science concerned with mathematical models of biology, pharmacology, disease, and physiology used to describe and quantify interactions between xenobiotics and patients, including beneficial effects and side effects resultant from such interfaces (Barrett, Fossler et al. 2008).

6 of the 8 who entered the program in Aug. 2020 finished the certificate in Aug. 2021. In the "Other" category are two 2022 PharmD graduates from our program who were accepted into fellowships in pharmacometrics. The third person in the "Other" category works as a pharmacists for a national health care company.
