Program Description:
The MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences at VCU School of Pharmacy includes four areas of concentration :  1) pharmacotherapy, 2) Outcomes (Pharmacoeconomics) 3) pharmaceutics and 4) medicinal chemistry. These programs provide the preparation and research experience for academic, governmental, and industrial careers. Some of our MS students also continue their education to earn a PhD at either VCU or other institutions. Students typically complete their MS degree in 2 years.

Prospective applicants are highly encouraged to familiarize themselves with the research being conducted by graduate faculty whose research that they find particularly interesting, as well as departments of interest.
