    UGA Pharmacy's Pharmaceutical & Biomedical Sciences Department provides a world-class education in drug discovery and development research with access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. The only public College of Pharmacy in the state of Georgia, our program is offered at an affordable rate and in a comprehensive, hands-on atmosphere designed to train scientists who plan to work at the top of their profession. Each year, graduates from PBS programs start rewarding careers in academia, industry, and government. We provide the academic, research, and administrative resources necessary to meet the following program goals:
    
    - Give students breadth of knowledge in modern pharmaceutical and biomedical science disciplines and application to drug discovery and development.
    - Give students depth of knowledge and technical training in their area of study.
