    The UGA Regulatory Sciences (RS) Programs are academic graduate programs designed to prepare Regulatory Affairs Professionals for careers in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Biologics, and Animal Health business sectors. These programs are web-based and part-time. Course work uses a blended instructional approach of asynchronously delivered content and interactive project work taught by subject matter experts from industry, the university, and regulatory agencies to ensure that the content is current and relevant. Classes are intended to allow individual flexibility, yet are structured to progress student learning during the semester. Each semester is 15-16 weeks in length except for summer semester which is 11 weeks.
    
    The rapid expansion of pharmaceutical and biomedical products requires a greater number of highly skilled Regulatory Sciences professionals to oversee the approval for new products lines and manage compliance with complex regulatory policies and procedures. Specialized and convenient education is crucial for professionals to develop and sustain an understanding of the ever-changing regulatory environment. The Masters of Science for Regulatory Sciences Program assures a strong professional background needed to succeed in administrative positions and specialized areas required of hands-on profession. This program is for individuals with a clear objective to cultivate a career in regulatory affairs and those with an industry background desiring advanced education in regulatory management. The Masters of Science for Regulatory Sciences Program covers regulatory requirements for Pharmaceutical, Biologic, Medical Device, Animal Health, International Regulations, and Combination Products.
