Program Description | The Masters of Pharmaceutical Sciences: Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Healthcare program offers a unique opportunity for students to gain in-depth knowledge about Pharmacogenomics and understand the effects of genomics, environment, patient-specific factors on drug response, allowing for individualized therapy and optimal clinical outcomes. This Pharmacogenomics Masters Program not only empowers students to integrate genomics inpatient care but opens up ample opportunities for employment in academia, the pharmaceutical industry, and direct clinical care. It also provides knowledge of state-of-art genomics research, innovative Precision Medicine approaches, and implementation of Genomic Medicine. |

Additional Information about Degree Requirements: | Students are required to complete a capstone course with a hypothesis-driven research project or a comprehensive evaluation of a contemporary issue in the development of drugs/biologicals/devices. A committee of faculty members will be constituted to guide the student in the undertaking. The project findings should demonstrate competency in multidisciplinary didactic coursework and scientific, regulatory, and business aspects of new drug/drug product or device development. |
