The online clinical research program is a master’s degree program offered year-round. It is entirely online, with applicants starting classes in the Summer or Fall I terms.

Summer Term: Begins May 2021; deadline is April 30, 2021
Fall I Term: Begins August 2021; deadline for applications is July 1, 2021

Program Description

The MS in Clinical Research curriculum provides foundational and advanced knowledge in Clinical Research including drug development, clinical trial operations, study design, data management, regulatory affairs, medical ethics, scientific writing, and biostatistical literacy. Students can enroll full-time to complete the program in two years; or, choose a part-time option.

Graduates are prepared for leadership positions in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, government agencies, medical institutions, academic institutions and hospitals. Within these fields, graduates are qualified to work as clinical investigators, clinical research associates (in-house or remote), clinical research coordinators, data research coordinators, project support, project managers, data managers, safety specialists, regulatory managers, and many other positions.

Bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university

Candidate interviews are conducted at the discretion of the admissions committee.

Current and accepted professional and graduate students are eligible to apply for annual and/or endowed scholarships through the College’s scholarship competition each year during the end of the spring semester. Students must apply every academic year. The College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences selects scholarship recipients from this application, unless a separate application is required. The application typically opens in March of the spring semester and closes the end of May.
